Packing is part of the craft
This stage continues the making process. Every Frangipani object is packed by hand, individually and without automation. Paper, protective layers, wood. Each form is secured so it cannot move in transit. There are no shortcuts or universal solutions: every shape calls for a different approach, a different balance and a different way of protecting it.
It is the final stage of the work in Bali, the last moment the object is still at home. Packing therefore happens carefully, without haste. Craft does not end at the kiln or the workshop door. It ends when the object arrives safely in its new space.

The form must stay in place
Each crate has been designed around a particular object. The wood is rough, but the construction is precise. Straps hold the weight. Nothing touches by chance. These objects are heavy, fragile and unique all at once. That is why loading them requires physical work and careful control at every stage.
Here, craft meets a very practical responsibility. Every movement matters: one mistake can mean losing something that cannot simply be reproduced. This is not a standard warehouse item. It is an object made by hand, deserving the same respect throughout its journey.

The quiet before the journey
The container is closed. The crates are stacked securely, without unnecessary gaps. There is a moment of quiet. Everything is in place. From here, the Frangipani objects begin their journey from Bali to Europe. Without conspicuous markings or grand statements, enclosed in wood and protected by layers of work and experience.
This photograph reveals a scale of work that a finished interior does not show. Behind one object lies an entire process, many hands and many decisions. This is craft in transit, not a mass shipment. We give it the same attention as every stage that came before.
